Dublin Racing Festival Double!
What a weekend at the Dublin festival!
Honeysuckle continues her unbeaten reign, winning her third Irish Champion Hurdle in 3 consecutive years at the Dublin Racing Festival. The Henry de Bromhead trained mare won comfortably under Rachael Blackmore. The 8-year-old mare was sold by Shanroad Stables to Peter at the Punchestown GOFFS sale in 2018, turning out to be a world-class mare for owner Kenneth Alexander.
To top off the weekend, Sir Gerhard won for Willie Mullins in the Tattersalls Ireland Novice Hurdle at the Dublin Racing Festival, proving his quality with a Grade 1 double. The Cheveley Park Stud-owned gelding was brought by Peter as a foal, then sold through the Landrover 2018 sale to Coolmeen Farms.
Next to look forward to with these two Rathmore Stud brought and Sold horses is Cheltenham Festival.
