A double for Rathmore Stud
A double by Rathmore Stud sold graduates.
Sir Gerhard continues to prove his class by winning impressively on his Hurdle debut at Leopardstown in the Thorntons Recycling Maiden Hurdle. The 7yo gelding made all the running and cruised home under Paul Townend for trainer Willie Mullins and owner Cheveley Park. The Champion Bumper winner, bred by Keatingstown Bloodstock, was sold by Peter to Annshoon Stud and Ellmarie Holden. Congratulations to all the connections with this extremely promising young horse.
Not At Present brings up a quick double for the Rathmore Stud team at Fontwell Park in the Barber Kurakina Memorial Handicap Hurdle, under Niall Houlihan. The 6yo gelding, by Rathbarry Stud's stallion Presenting, completes a hat trick for trainer Ben Pauling and owners Rachel and John Brodie. Wishing the connections of this up-and-coming gelding huge congratulations.
Both horses were sold through the Land Rover sale in 2018, showing the fantastic quality of horses that are sold through that sale.
